Teddy_d and Sophie-girl

it's been a while and a lot has happened. we have moved to a really big house and an even bigger yard! teddy_d and i like our new home. since moving here i have begun to collect rocks - from the driveway. mom takes them away from me. *snort*
mom has been secretly saving my rocks and today she took a picture of the ones that i've brought into the house over last little while. here they are:

holy moly! it's been six months since i last posted. bad dog.

at the beginning of october i went with mom and dad on the CIBC Run for the Cure walk again. this year it was much warmer and a lot more fun. here is a picture of mom, me and kailiia just before starting out.

the big news is that i have a baby sister. her name is Sophie and she is really cute.

we have lots of fun together but sometimes i get tired of all her puppiness. she is so busy. she hasn't got the hang of the pee pad thing yet. there are still lots of accidents that make mom look sad. it's a good thing that Sophie is cute. here she is ready for Christmas;

i was sick a couple of weeks ago. i probably ate something that i shouldn't have but i don't remember. mom calls me a goat cause i'll try to eat just about anything - drywall, card board, leaves, cat food and well.... i wont' mention the rest. anyway, i'm feeling better now but mom has laid down the law - no turkey for us dogs. it doesn't agree with our tummies but at least we still get cheese!

time to go. mom has to take Sophie to the vet for her last booster shot. poor Sophie. hopefully i'll remember to stop by more often.

i am now teddy_d international dog of adventure! mom, dad and i went on this really long car ride. i got to see lots of new things and the "sniffs", they were GREAT!

OMG!! dad reminded me of my big accomplishment while we were away. i can do stairs now! both up and down. the cats will get no rest now!

today was test day for me. i had completed the 8 week intermediate puppy training class. mom wasn't all that sure that i'd pass cause i have a hard time with "stay".... i get distracted. well i sure surprised her. i passed, scoring excellent in everything but the 'stay". yay me!

mom discovered that my squeaky bar bell toy had a hole in it after it stopped squeaking. i'm now on my 3rd bar bell and it has a band aid on it 'cause it has a little hole it too. i really like them but i wish they would last longer. it seems that i just get them broken in and then they break. *sigh*
i have puppy class tomorrow. charlotte is in the same class and we have fun together. there are big dogs and some smaller than me. i like all but one of the other dogs. he always gets in my face and doesn't seem to listen to his mom.
supper is over topped off with a "greenie" which cleans my teeth and makes my breath smell better. now it's nap time.

last night when mom and me headed out for a walk it was really windy. it was so exciting, so many things to chase after! that darn leash thing kept me catching most of it and mom wanted to just walk. it started to rain after just a few minutes so we headed home. i'm not sure if i like rain; i got pretty wet when i was out for me last pee break before bed last night but i did manage to sneak in a leaf! i love leaves! i love sponges too.... i try to steal the one under the sink in the kitchen all of the time. this morning i discovered something new. cloth; you can throw it around, lay on it, scratch at it to make it lay just so and it's pretty tasty too. i hope the bits i ate won't give me a tummy ache.

mom took me to see jake and charlotte today. i like to play with them, but usually mom goes out when i'm there and i don't like that. mom and jake and charlotte's mom were both really happy when they got home. none of us had any accidents while we were by ourselves! i did steal some socks but i didn't do any damage to them and mom found them both.
mom bought me new treats today, cesar double delights. they are yummy good. i can have a lot of them according to mom. oh boy!
no walk today. it is really windy today and my ear is starting to feel better so mom thinks it wouldn't be a good idea to go out in all the wind. yesterday's walk was good, but mom wouldn't let me sniff all the smells for long enough. *sigh*
nap time. i'm tired after playing with my friends this morning.

mom and dad had to go out this morning. as usual, i was put in the bathroom with all my favorite things and my kong filled with cheezwhiz. i hate being left at home. i miss my mom and dad, especially mom. when they got home i was so excited i tinkled. it used to happen a lot, now not so often. today though it happened twice. later in the day mom had to go out again and when she got home i was so happy to see her.... well you know, it happened again. (hangs head)
mom wasn't mad at me though and we went for a long walk this evening. the sniffs were excellent! i didn't meet up with any other dogs but i did see a cat. we passed each other on the sidewalk but didn't even exchange growls or hisses! i bet mom was proud of me then! it's dried up a lot outside so my belly and legs weren't all wet by the time we got home. my feet weren't even that muddy. i'm going to sleep good tonight, especially since my ear is starting to feel better.

my ears have been bothering me. mom tries to keep them clean but i don't like the whole business so i'm not very co-operative. i'm going to the vet later this morning. i'm pretty sure i will have to be muzzled.... sigh. i don't like that either.
i love sparkle's ears. her ears stand up and they are pretty big too. she lets me lick them and even chew them as long as i don't get silly. i usually end up getting too excited and then sparkle bats at me while complaining loudly.
the other cats won't let me lick their ears, they don't know what they are missing.
sometimes i surprise mom and lick her ears. her ears are small and lay against her head so they aren't as easy to get to. i don't chew her ears, she wouldn't like that. she doesn't complain, she laughs and makes sure i've haven't pulled one of the shiny things from her ears.
now it's time for breakfast.
